VNIR203
Based in Bangalore, VNIR Biotechnologies develops cutting-edge molecular probes for cellular imaging and disease diagnostics.
VNIRTM Nile Red is a highly solvatochromic fluorescent dye used to stain lipid membranes, lipid droplets and hydrophobic regions of proteins. The dye is highly fluorecent in nonpolar/hydrophobic enviroment and non fluorescent in polar enviroments (like water). Nile red exhibits variance in emission wavelength depending the environment.
